DISCLAIMER: As with many of my endeavors with fiction, both my own and from
others, I attach to characters before plot, so the caps I’ll be
uploading first will basically be of Bog and precious little else. I
plan to go back through and focus on other characters in turn before
landscapes and other details.
I can’t draw and I’m far too
anxious anymore to write with someone else’s characters, especially when
they’re so beloved by a fandom, so this is about as close of a
contribution I really feel I can make, so I hope this helps someone.
I just wanted to give this person a boost because this video is SO beautiful and perfect yall HAVE to see it please! You won’t regret it! (you might just be screaming of happy and feels in the floor until you can no longer breathe…)

I had the thought that Bog’s default short spiky hair look is when he doesn’t grow our his “hair” and his is what happens when he does let it grow out and then @deluxetrashqueen suggested that he also grows a thorn/moss beard but I didn’t draw that oops oh well maybe I’ll draw that later now I wanna draw Bog holding his kid looking like this XD
Made another Strange Magic Mushroom. Shown next to my first one for comparison. I experimented with color and how I did the dots. I fired little dots separate from the cap and sprinkled them over the overglaze. I also carved the ridges into the cap, instead of just painting them on. I liked the darker red better, but I went back to the hand applied dots on the third one I made (not shown). But to get the dots white and the cap red I have to paint it all red then wipe back to white and it never gets back to pure white. Whatever.
Also, The arms fell off as it dried so I had to glue them on afterwards and they don’t lie quite flat.
Not as happy with it as the first but still cute UwU
canefora requested Bog and Dawn in a Hades/Persephone au. and of course my reaction was HELL YES. I’m still mad about losing the line art when my laptop crashed, but this was the basic idea.
